We met Michael while we were in Maui on our honeymoon and were immediately sucked into the sound of this instrument. The Chapman stick is unique in that it's played almost as if you were playing the piano with two hands, but looks like an over-sized guitar/bass standing on end. The sound in person is amazing and hard to describe, you can pick up some of his CD's on Amazon (we picked up a few from him while we were there.) I won't go on and on, he gives better information and a demonstration on Current. Here's the video:
